Brass Rubbing for our Year 2 pupils.

For a number of years now our children have taken part in Brass Rubbing activities. Year 2 have their turn in November as these pictures show. Older children have their turn to repeat the exercise with the teacher in February.

This is an excellent opportunity for the children to take part in something very different and it always goes down well with everyone. The children create butterflies, birds and other animals as well as a series of large brass rubbings.

 

Many of the children take the opportunity to buy a pack off the teacher to do some very different 'homework'!
