New Foundation Stage Climbing Frame

Last May vandals set fire to our fantastic climbing frame. At the time this had only been built a short time ago and the children were devastated. Since then we have worked to ensure the new climbing frame will be even better . . . and it is!

A short time ago our new climbing frame was given its first test climb by the present Foundation Stage pupils. It certainly got the thumbs up! It is a lot more challenging than the previous one and all of the children already have their own targets. 'I need to be more confident on the pole' said one child recently. ''I need to use the rope bridge more' said another.

The frame is also used as a special treat for other infant classes. One class reached ten class awards and their special prize was time on the climbing frame.

So we hope the vandals will stay away so that the new frame can continue to be a source of challenge and pleasure to everyone at school!
